Why the name iron sharp k9?
Iron on its own is a raw metal. Hard, but brittle and unrefined.
To become something strong, flexible, and usable, it must go through a process of:
⟡ Heating (fire)
⟡ Hammering (pressure)
⟡ Shaping (skill + repetition)
⟡ Cooling/tempering (control)
Without this forging process, iron remains weak and prone to shattering.
It’s the combination of heat, pressure, and shaping that gives it its final strength and resilience. That same process is what inspired the name Iron Sharp K9.
Proverbs 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” this principle is at the core of how I approach training.
Dogs and their leaders are forged through challenge, accountability, consistency, and discipline.
Without structure and purposeful shaping, even the best potential remains unrefined.
At Iron Sharp K9, your dog isn’t the only one being forged under pressure, you are too.
