Inside
my world

I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching my grandmother run her pet store, teach group classes, and raise working German Shepherds. We were always around training, structure, and the bond between dogs and people. I didn’t know it then, but those early experiences planted the seed for the work I do today.

While a student at Jacksonville State University, the world shut down during COVID and in that season, I brought home my first German Shepherd, Zukun. Training him sparked a deep love for the process and a passion I couldn’t ignore. People around me started noticing, and before long I was offered a job as a professional dog trainer while still in school. My clientele grew quickly, and I made the leap to full-time training, where I’ve stayed ever since.

Now, with five years of professional experience and hundreds of dogs trained, this work has become a true calling. I had my own plan for life, but God had other plans and I’m grateful every day that He led me here. I give this work my all and love every second of it.

Today, I’m married to my best friend, Luke. We eloped in Montana, a place close to our hearts. We share life with our two incredible German Shepherds, Zukun and Nova, who have been my training partners from the very beginning.

Outside of training, I love to read, travel, hike, and spend time in nature. I’m a coffee lover, a lifelong learner, and deeply family-oriented. I believe great trainers are always growing in knowledge, in understanding, and in their connection to both dogs and people.

I don’t see this work as a job. I see it as a way to serve. Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” That’s the heart behind Iron Sharp K9. I believe God placed me here to help people through their dogs, to sharpen both ends of the leash.

If you’re ready to walk that journey, I’d be honored to work with you.

Sincerely, Sarah Davis Webber
